Hey Surfers!
Today we will be exploring the web and learning more about what computer satey is and why it is important to be safe. I am sure your parents have talked to you about how it is important to be safe when you walk around, when you cross the street, and more. Today we will explore why it is important to be safe while on the computer.
To begin our lesson today you will have to pretend you are a surfer. Good thing your teacher knows a thing or two about surfing. So if any of the surf lingo (language) gets you confused ask your teacher she can help you out.

Go to FOR KIDS and click on "Surf's Up!"
Read the page and click on the link on the bottm of the page: "Check out safety tips surfer kids should know!"

Read on and then click on the link on the bottom of the page: "What is personal information and how do I know when its okay to tell others about myself?"
Read the page and click on the link at the bottom of the page: Check out other ways sites that help make surfing safe . . .
